The definition for "love" and "love making" from Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary (copyright 1973, haha).
Love: Strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties. Yes, love in family and love in marriage.
Love Making: sexual activity. Yes and No. A high respect is held from me to those who do only have sex with the one they love, but not everyone that endulges in sexual acts loves that other person, they are simply seeking for pleasure, or maybe something else gross and kinky, but I would consider that a personal problem.
The other day my mother told me my first sentence ever spoken was "I love you." This sentence still remains 100% in my vocabulary. Since the second of conception, love has remained a substantial part of my life, thus without love one can not live. Throughout my life I have compared every event, situation, and oppurtunity to love. Throughout my present teenage years as a highschool lover my thoughts of love have changed from only loving my family members to the thought of falling in love with a man (note the stress of the word "man") for eternal. From the life I have lived so far, succeeding in about sixteen and a half years I still do not know what that kind of love feels like and means, although my heart urges to find out. In past relationships with "boys" I have said the words "I love you," but only on my behalf of immaturity and an ignorance as to how strong the word "love" really is. I do not regret in doing so because if I hadn't, then I wouldn't have come to this level of thought in what the word "love" really means, and why I have ever spoken of it. What ever love might be we are all destined to find out sometime. |
